Annika Williams 1st Place Women's Pentathlon - SEC Indoor Championships 2023

Annika Williams, a junior at Kentucky, won the Southeastern Conference women's indoor title in the pentathlon with a lifetime-best 4,346 points at Lance Harter Track and Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville, Ark. Williams improved on her previous-best 4,173 points from the 2021 NCAA Division 1 Indoor final in the same venue. She long jumped an indoor-best 20-1 (6.12m) and ran a personal-best 2:20.76 in the 800 meters to ascend to the No. 3 collegiate competitor this season. Williams joined Precious Nwokey in 2011 as the only Kentucky female athletes to win the SEC indoor pentathlon crown. More videos |
